Dr. Fred Saad
Dr. Fred Saad, DVM, has dedicated over 20 years to providing exemplary veterinary services, firmly believing in delivering the highest quality of medical care at an honest and reasonable price. A graduate of Cairo University in 1972, Dr. Fred began his veterinary career with a strong foundation in animal medicine. Following his immigration to the United States, he sought to enhance his expertise by furthering his education at Purdue University and Oklahoma State University.
In 1998, Dr. Fred relocated to Nevada, where he concentrated on advancing his surgical skills. The following year marked a significant milestone as he moved to Orange County and acquired El Toro Animal Hospital in 2000. His commitment to professional development is evident through his active membership in several prestigious organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), California State Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), and Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA).
Among Dr. Fred's most notable achievements is being one of the first veterinarians in Orange County to implement stem cell therapy for treating hip dysplasia and joint disease — a testament to his innovative approach within the field. His surgical proficiency encompasses a wide range of procedures, including stem cell therapies as well as neuter, spay, and soft tissue surgeries.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Fred enjoys spending quality time with his family and relishing moments at the beach — activities that enrich both his personal life and overall well-being.
